Please Park Tidily!

Some of our Bridge sessions are becoming so popular that parking can be difficult.  We have large car parks at the rear of the premises and we ask members to make use of these as much as possible and to park neatly in the marked spaces.

If the car parks are full, then single file parking is permitted on the road leading to the car park.

The grass area at the front of the building is  being churned up by parking and we ask that this should be used only if no other space is available.  If parking on the grass, please try to drive gently to avoid damage to the grass.

The disabled parking spaces may be used only if there is a disabled person in the car and a disabled badge is displayed.

Parking is not permitted in the courtyard outside the main entrance.

Changes to Sunday Swiss Pairs

We have had problems recently with our Sunday Swiss Pairs and there have been occasions on which we have been unable to finish the event as planned.  We are trying to resolve the problems, but at present we do not have all the answers.

Many of our members like these Sunday events and we intend to continue with them, but to give us time to find out the cause of the problems and to ensure that they do not occur in the future we have decided to cancel the event which was to be held on  Sunday 18th May.

We will definitely be holding a Sunday event on 22nd June.  If we are confident that we have solved the Swiss Pairs problems this will be a Swiss Pairs.  If still doubtful about Swiss we will run another type of event, with similar prizes awarded.  More information will be available shortly.

Further Sunday events will be held this year on 20th July, 14th September, 19th October and 14th December.

We hope that you will continue to support our enjoyable Sunday events.  Watch this space or contact Sue Reid for more information.
